If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you- by text message if we hold a valid mobile number for you.

If your test results are normal or require no further action, we will not routinely contact you. If you wish to confirm the results of any tests, please call us and our administrative staff will be able to confirm that tests are normal / require no further action. Please note that our administrative staff will not be able to give you numerical results or discuss the implications of these results with you.

If you wish to receive a copy of your results, you are of course entitled to do so- please ask our staff. 

Questions about your results

If you have been advised (by text message) to speak to us or you want to talk to someone about your results, please call us on 01546 462001 after 09:30am to make a telephone appointment. We try to make most of these appointments in the afternoon where possible.

If you have been speaking to or seeing a specific clinician regarding a problem for some time and they have requested tests, it is usually best to speak to this clinician about the results of these tests. Please tell our reception staff if this is the case and we will facilitate this.
